This film tells the story of Walter Mitty ( Ben Stiller ) is a guy who has a boring life and get stuck in the daily routine . In fact , Walter is a person who works in a famous magazine , which Life magazine . But in fact , he himself never did any adventure in her life .
One time , he found a piece of film negatives belonging to renowned photographer Sean O'Connell ( Sean Penn ) is missing . Though the lost photos will be used as the front cover of the magazine.
In the spirit of a given girl he secretly liked Cheryl ( Kristen Wiig ) , Walter finally ventured to do his own adventures . He tried to find a photographer Sean O'Connell and travel , during which only exist in the imagination . Did Walter found Sean ? Is it a real adventure , or he just did it in his imagination ?
